Separating the finite nature of time from the fear that life is being missed or that you are permanently behind.

The handover: "The clock determines whether my life is successful."

Someone your age achieves something before you.

Scarcity interpretation

"I'm behind. They got there before me."

Transmutation

"Their timing is information, not a deadline for my life. I can appreciate what they've created without turning it into evidence that I'm late."

You see someone younger than you succeeding.

Scarcity interpretation

"I'm running out of time. I should have done this already."

Someone tells you, “You're getting older.”

Scarcity interpretation

"I'm losing my chance."

Transmutation

Core reflection

The core transmutation for “time is running out” I think the deepest scarcity belief here is: “The life I want is somewhere in the future, and the present is being consumed before I can reach it.” The alternative isn't: “I have plenty of time.” Because sometimes you genuinely don't. It's: “Time is finite. I don't need to deny that. But I also don't need to spend the time I have being afraid that I'm running out of it.” And that leads to a very useful distinction: Scarcity of time: “I need to hurry because I'm running out.” Appreciation of time: “Because time is finite, I want to actually experience the time I'm living.” That fits beautifully with the structure of your existing belief dictionary: the objective isn't necessarily to change the external circumstance; it's to notice the scarcity interpretation that is preventing the person from experiencing what is already happening.
